Its general issue to talk about that is very much important for Santhal community and other tribal community and it's very much shameful and not very interesting topic that you may like but for many years and many days I think about these issues and i think that i should write it.

Because we have to change than only we can change our community.

Actually the problem is with our community that we take rituals very seriously which is can be good and bad.

It's actually a very good thing but think about how about if the sacrificing human beings where not being stopped till now then what would have been the situation right now.

I think for preserving the rituals some people of our ancestors hand made changes that instead of using human head for sacrificing instead why not use the coconut fruit for sacrificing to the God, in this way they had made changes and till now we follow the same rule where we put coconut and we sacrifice to the god in India.

I think some will not like my words but to you also think that if we will not make certain changes in our rules and regulations in our community then how can we will be able to change and be with level with the changing society.

What are some important problems

the most important problems that I see in my community is that the use of Handi or Handia which is actually a drink made from rice.

In my opinion it should be used in limit and or should be stopped in open selling as product. Instead why not use that drink only in temples . Why are you taking that in market and selling.

Reasons to stop this "Handi bhati" culture

It is very widely available in village area.

As they use it to give the god offerings. Being important doesn't mean that it will not be compulsory to take all time and one thing I want to mention here is that the drink leads to drunkenness like wine or wisky.

If in a place their is no proper resources and no proper infrastructure, then how come their children will be educated how their development will happen, of-course they will do other unimportant things and they will messup their future, by chance if they become something then they will not respect their parents as their parents had not supported them, instead they will treat them bad.

Actually it becomes a problem, when we see that a husband drinks a lot and becomes burden on his family. He even beats his wife and she too due to her very humble nature and understanding that if she will resist then they might be in divorce situation and that thing is dangerous for their relationship.

But due to changing society, people support and government will, even Lady's are now becoming more self sufficient and are making voice over such issue.
